Methodology + Standard + Deliverable
Every engagement leads with the standard that governs it, follows a documented methodology, and produces a specific, named deliverable. That is what makes our work auditable, repeatable and defensible — not vague advisory.
Built for credibility, engineered for repeat delivery
Our approach rests on three commitments that make deliverables defensible — and make engagements repeatable across teams and reporting years.
Standards-first
We lead with the standard that governs the work — GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, SBTi, ISSB, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, PCAF. Methodology follows the standard; deliverables evidence it.
Assurance-ready
Deliverables are structured for third-party verification from day one — full audit trails, documented boundaries, data-quality trails and a recalculation policy. Verification should be a pass-through, not a rework cycle.
Repeatable
Same methodology, same data architecture, same deliverable structure across reporting years — so the second inventory, the third disclosure, the fourth EPD all build on the first.
How an engagement runs — start to finish
Four steps, repeated for every service line and every reporting year. Clear at the start; fixed fee at the end.
Scoping call
A complimentary 30-minute call to define objectives, boundaries, data availability and assurance needs — and to select the applicable standard.
Fixed-fee proposal
A written proposal with scope, timeline, named deliverables and a fixed fee, issued within five business days of the scoping call.
Engagement
A structured project — kickoff, milestones, and a draft / review / final delivery cycle with documented methodology at each step.
Ongoing support
Optional retainer for annual inventory refresh, disclosure refresh and ad-hoc advisory — so year two builds on year one without rework.
The named standards behind every deliverable
We do not invent methodology. We apply the international standards that regulators, investors and procurement teams recognise — and we name them on every deliverable.
GHG Protocol
Corporate, Scope 2 & Scope 3 Standards — the global methodology for measuring and reporting corporate emissions.
ISO 14064-1 / -3
Quantification & verification of organisational GHG emissions — the verifiable backbone of a credible inventory.
SBTi
Science Based Targets initiative — corporate near-term and net-zero target setting, including FLAG for land-use sectors.
IFRS S2 / ISSB
Climate-related financial disclosures — the converging global baseline, adopted in Canada by the CSSB.
CSRD ESRS E1
EU climate reporting standard — double-materiality and the E1 climate disclosure requirements.
ISO 14067
Product carbon footprint — the bridge between full LCA and a single, defensible kg CO₂e per unit.
ISO 14040 / 14044
Life cycle assessment — the methodological backbone for product-level environmental impact.
EN 15804
Construction product EPDs — the PCR-driven framework behind procurement-ready declarations.
EU Taxonomy
Sustainable activities classification — TSC, DNSH and Minimum Safeguards for green finance eligibility.
PCAF
Financed emissions — the global standard for Scope 3 Category 15 across asset classes.
ICMA GBP / GLP
Green bond & loan principles — the four-component framework behind credible green debt instruments.
IRA / CSA G&T Bonds
Clean energy tax credits (US) and green/transition bond framework (Canada) for project eligibility.
